These accomplished professionals have solid theoretical backgrounds and are keen to share their expertise gained from diverse locations around the world. Their extensive knowledge and practical experience make them an asset not only within the classroom but also beyond it.

Dominique Mariko

Professor

Dominique Mariko is the current Lead Data Scientist at Yseop in Paris and has previously held roles as the DSTI Direction of Studies, Project Specialist at Saipem in Paris, and Project Lead at Publications Puce & Plume in Paris.

Pr Jacques Blum

Academic Member, Professor

Jacques Blum is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Nice and has previously held positions as a professor at the University Joseph Fourier Grenoble and a researcher at CNRS, and he is an Agrégé in Mathematics from the Ecole normale supérieure.

Clement Ziane

Professor

Clement Ziane is the Co-Founder of Aizca and has previously worked as a Research Engineer at Amaris in Sophia Antipolis, a Web Engineer at HindSite Interactive in Washington DC, USA, and a Web Software Engineer at Spheris Digital in Beijing City, China.

Sébastien Corniglion

CEO and Professor

Sébastien Corniglion is the Co-Founder and CEO of DSTI and has a background as an Information System Engineer & PhD student at SICTIAM in Sophia-Antipolis, as well as an MBA and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh. His diverse academic and professional experience has helped shape his leadership in the field of data science and technology.

Hanna Abi Akl

Professor

Hanna Abi Akl is a renowned scientist, author, and researcher in language, logic, and artificial intelligence, with expertise in language structure, understanding and generation, as well as symbolic and graph-based knowledge retrieval methods in AI. He currently serves as an NLP Researcher and Professor at Data ScienceTech Institute.

Yannick Ramond

Professor

Yannick Ramond has a wealth of professional experience, having worked as an independent management consultant since 2019, as well as serving as the CFO for Fiducial US from 2008 to 2016 and an Audit Manager at PwC Audit France from 2002 to 2008.

Pr Didier Auroux

Professor

Didier Auroux is a highly accomplished professor in Applied Mathematics, currently serving as the director of the Master of Science program in applied mathematics and computer science for financial analysis at Université Côte d’Azur and also a member of the CASTOR Inria team in Sophia Antipolis. He has previously held positions as the deputy director of the mathematics lab (Laboratoire J.A. Dieudonné) and director of the Applied Mathematics and Modelling department at Polytech.

Amir Zoet

Professor

Amir Zoet is a highly motivated ADAGOS Research Engineer with an academic background that includes an Applied MSc Data Science at DSTI, a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Southern Denmark and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Roskilde University, Denmark.

Pr Charles Bouveyron

Professor

As the Director of Institut 3IA Côte d’Azur, Inria Chair in Data Science, and a Professor of Applied Mathematics at Université Côte d’Azur, he has a wealth of expertise in statistics, artificial intelligence, and data science.

Pr Fabien Gandon

Professor, Co-president of the Scientific Board

Fabien Gandon, a Senior Researcher at INRIA and I3S Sophia Antipolis in France, specializes in Semantic Web, Ontologies, Knowledge Engineering and Modelling, Corporate Memories, and other areas in the field of informatics and computer science.

Jérôme Baton

Professor

Jérôme Baton is a highly knowledgeable and experienced professor of various technologies such as Neo4j, Android, Java/Jakarta EE, IOT, SQL, NoSQL, and author of “Learning Neo4j 3.x, second edition”, who has previously worked as a Software Architect at Drims, Paris, and holds a BSc in Information Technology from Brighton University, UK.

Dr Catherine Faron

Professor

Dr. Catherine Faron is a respected full professor at Université Côte d’Azur. She holds the position of vice-head of Wimmics, a collaborative research team between the I3S laboratory and the Inria centre.

Dr Christine Malot

Professor

Christine Malot is a Statistics Lecturer at the Jean-Alexandre Dieudonné Maths Labs and an elected Director at Université Nice Sophia-Antipolis, also serving as a member and deputy treasurer of the Société Française de Statistiques.

Stéphane Mollard is a Program Manager and Head of R&D Project Management at Amadeus in Sophia-Antipolis, with a Master of Science in Databases & Systems Integration from SKEMA.

Pr Bénédicte Legrand

Professor

Bénédicte Legrand is a Professor at University Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne since 2012, Head of the Paris 1 Computer Science research lab, a Professional Coach, an Associate Professor at Université Pierre et Marie Curie – Sorbonne University (2002-2011), and holds a PhD in computer Science from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (1999-2001) and a DEA at TelecomParisTech (1998).

Pr Julien Jacques

Julien Jacques is a current Professor in Statistics at Université Lumière Lyon 2, with previous lecturing experience at Université de Lille, and a PhD in Statistics from Université Grenoble Alpes.

Jean-François Derenty

Jean-François Derenty is a senior consultant and expert in SAS, decision-making, and metrology, with experience in teaching SAS and statistics in universities and grandes écoles, and over 25 years of experience in Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking as a team leader and statistical pilot project manager.

Dr Anna Sterrantino

Professor

Dr Anna Sterrantino is an Honorary Research Associate at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and part of the MRC Centre for Environment and Health, with research interests in developing Bayesian methods and Latent Gaussian Markov Random Fields for improved small-area analysis in environmental epidemiological studies.

Dr Georgiy Bobashev

Professor

Dr Georgiy Bobashev is an accomplished data scientist and biostatistician who currently holds positions as an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina State University, an RTI Fellow and Senior Data Scientist at RTI International, an Adjunct Faculty member at University College Dublin, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, having previously completed a PostDoc in Biostatistics & Epidemiology at The John Hopkins University in the USA.
