DSTI SINCE 2015

Success Stories

Data ScienceTech Institute (DSTI) was created in 2015 on an idea from Sébastien Corniglion and Léo Souquet. As former co-founders of an Information Systems start up targeted for SMEs, they quickly faced difficulties in hiring the right staff. As no one really had the full-width range of skills required for the Big Data world of the XXIst century. With years of experience in the Higher Education world, particularly in France and in the UK, they also had a vision of what worked beautifully and what needed to be changed.

DSTI was constructed with the world-famous quality and intensity of French science and engineering. And the natural British business savviness and pragmatism on the other. As the project was taking shape, they met José Massol, a very active Business Angel and retired Senior Vice-President of Thales. Very attracted by the project, he offered to come in not as a Business Angel but as a partner, and is now our esteemed Chairman.

QUALIOPI CERTIFICATION

Quality label for our courses

What is Qualiopi Certification?

Qualiopi is the name given to the National Quality Reference System.
It is based on the law of 5 September 2018.

Note that the decree of application of the law in connection with the control of the Quality of Training Organisations is the decree of 6 June 2019.
It details the content of the National Quality Reference System, which has been presented and is officially called: Qualiopi.
This decree is the basis for the participants in professional training to shape their quality approach.

Thanks to this quality approach, training institutes are aiming for the Qualiopi certification, which will be mandatory on 1 January 2021 in order to benefit from professional training funds.

Quality criteria for Qualiopi certification

Qualiopi certification is based on 7 key criteria, in 22 indicators that apply to all training providers, plus 10 specific indicators.

1. The conditions for informing the public about the services offered, the time taken to access them and the results obtained.

2. The precise identification of the objectives of the services offered and the adaptation of these services to the beneficiary public, when designing the services.

3. The adaptation of the services and the reception, support, monitoring and evaluation methods implemented to the beneficiaries.

4. The adequacy of the educational, technical and supervisory resources for the services implemented.

5. The qualification and development of the knowledge and skills of the staff responsible for implementing the services.

6. The provider’s involvement and investment in its professional environment.

7. The collection and consideration of feedback from the parties involved in the services provided.
