This week’s student spotlight introduces to Chiranjeevi, who joined the Applied MSc in Data Engineering programme in October 2018. After his Bachelors, he worked for 5 years as a Software Engineer in IT industry. I worked on Telecom Software product development and support.
He is currently doing his 6-month internship as a Big Data Engineer at INNOSCAPE, a Digital Market Intelligence supporting cross-channel distributions management and sales efficiency optimisation.

What led you to study at DSTI in the Applied MSc in Data Engineering?
I wanted to pursue career in Data Engineering as this field is really exciting and challenging. Data and information have become the key resources in wide range of industries and opportunities exist in various sectors/domains. I found that DSTI’s Applied MSc in Data Engineering programme has been designed to assimilate students with advanced tools and techniques in both technology and management. Therefore, it makes us very employable in demanding roles of Big Data technologies.
How does it feel to study in France on the Sophia Antipolis campus?
Studying in France is really an awesome experience. Weather in Sophia-Antipolis is sunny and slightly breezy. I’m loving the sun, the sea, the French cuisine. And of course the environment on the campus.
