Data ScienceTech Institute (DSTI) becomes partner with GE Digital

GE, the leading industrial group worldwide, has chosen Paris to install its European Digital Foundry

GE is aspiring to become the leader in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in developing Predix, its cloud-based platform. In order to become this world leader, GE will recruit around 250 talented people in Paris for the horizon 2018, notably via a strong partnership network for accelerating the digital transformation in industrial companies.

An important part of this talented workforce will be Data Scientists. In order to take an active part in training these industry-driven Data Scientist, GE Digital has chosen to partner with Data ScienceTech Institute.

Pr Robert Plana, Ecosystem Leader for the European Digital Foundry, joins DSTI Scientific Advisory Board.

– Two excellence prizes per year to DSTI matriculated students, for a value circa 4,000€ each, co-attributed between GE and DSTI, following an internal competition.

n addition, Data ScienceTech Institute will include a class for training all its students in Predix in its MSc programmes, beginning with its upcoming Autumn 2016 cohort.
The Predix platform has set a goal to process 1 million terabytes per day by 2020.
